2018 Toyota 4Runner The 4Runner comes in six different trim levels. The base is the SR5 which comes with 17-inch wheels, skid plates, a power liftgate, and fog lights. A step up to the TRD Off-Road will get you wider 17-inch wheels, a locking rear differential, and crawl control. The Premium trim adds power-adjustable mirrors and some interior upgrades. The TRD Pro is the off-roaders dream. This comes with the features of the TRD Off-road and adds Bilstein dampers, all-terrain tires, and upgraded front springs along with a front skid plate. The top-level Limited model comes with the luxury features, and it adds a different suspension system, 20-inch wheels, and a sunroof.
All the 4Runner models come with the same 4-liter V-67 engine. This produces 270 horsepower and 278 pound-feet of torque, and Toyota pairs it with a five-speed automatic transmission. The SR5 and the Limited offer the option for either rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, while the TRD models come only with four-wheel drive. There is also a low-range transfer case for the four-wheel drive versions of all the models except the Limited and the Premium.
